About Ludlow Drum Tuition and its Founder (Shaun Ludlow)

Shaun Ludlow is an experienced, passionate tutor, freelance drummer and percussionist offering classes both online and in person from his Home Studio in Edinburgh and with several tuition companies - Previously with Farnham Music and Drama, Private Music Lessons Guildford, and Morningside School of Music - Currently with Portobello Music School and Substituting at Edinburgh School of music.

Shaun Currently plays with a number of Edinburgh based Artists Including Oriana Setz, Makeshift Graves and more!

Originally from Essex he gained his Grade 8 Trinity Rock and Pop qualification before graduating with a BA(hons) in Music Industry Practice, from the Academy of Contemporary Music, Guildford in 2019.  A highly competent sight reader and improviser with a passion and skillset covering a wide variety of music genres (including Jazz, Reggae, Electronic, and Metal), specialising in Rock, Hip Hop and Funk!

Shaun is fully DBS/PVG checked and holds an NSPCC Safeguarding certificate as well as being an official Trinity teacher and Exam Centre. Ludlow Drum Tuition is proud to be a safe space for all! Music is for everyone!
